Capitalism saves the poor

(from an email I received)

I supported Obama, but met someone from the former USSR and they said stuff that made me think, but so what, thats them not US. Then met  a Cuban refugee, she said Obama and Fidel were so much alike, and even though I was a little offended, I was compelled to look into it.

This is a quote from this Cuban refugee:

I survived in the communist country of Cuba, and I can clearly see the handwriting on the wall. Fidel Castro was very eloquent, charismatic, and made wonderful promises of change for a better life for all (except for the rich) when he came to power. Ah! He also claimed in the beginning that he was not a socialist but a reformer. Watching Obama speaking at the Democratic convention, along with the ornate Greek columns behind him, brought me back in time. It brought tears to my eyes along with some terrible memories. How can it be possible that this might be happening in America? It did not take long for Castro to ruin our beautiful country Cuba, and expose himself as a communist. Once communists attain their power, they are clever enough to instigate “change” to perpetuate their power. A good example of this is the socialist Hugo Chavez, who has vowed to his fanatic multitude of followers to change their Constitution and perpetuate his power indefinitely (just like in Cuba). So Americans, let’s not be naïve. This is not the time to experiment with our future. Our future is at stake now! Obama will not solve our problems as he claims. He will make them much worse. Think about this: He will be the President of the United States, backed by a liberal democratic Congress, supported by a bias media and with a Supreme Court bench filled with newly appointed liberal judges nominated by him. The combination is extremely dangerous. So, beware American,

This also caused me to look more closely at both platforms economic plan.

As I read the democratic platform, and looked at the small print, I saw that Obama's  plan seems good, I see benefits, at least in the first year, but then taxes must increase. It looks like the economy would track downward. Add to that the fact that we can look around the world, now and in history, and see the results of a socialist economy.

But what is socialism? I had never stopped to look before, and this Cuban has me thinking that I should know more about it.

It dawns on me, as Sean Hannity is interviewing people in the street, asking if they agree with the concept of giving to the needy,, and then adding "by taking from the rich," as Marxism teaches.

It dawned on me that the reason so many people support the idea is first that they do not understand the result of using the Marxist method to fill these social needs. and then that there is no clear alternative.

Now some of us know that John McCain's economic package as a whole will do all of these things, but the average person wanting change won't or can't study and grasp this.

Therefore, Capitalism with oversight and proper programs IS the Real Change that will result in the fulfilling of the needs = without the socialist agenda, and the "side-effects."

"What the heck do you mean?"

Well, Marxist socialism helps the 'needy' at the outset, but the COST is that the needy will stay in need, and a large number of the middle-class will be brought down into that category. AND the vast majority of people will loose the freedom to be responsible for ones-self.  And loose the freedom to be motivated and inspired to achieve by the promise of reward- No, socialism removes reward and replaces it with "what the government decides you need."

Socialism is a step by step plan, to turn us into slaves, specifically to make the majority of people dependent on the government/ unable to survive with-out government assistance.  Why should I submit myself as an object, to the whim and control of government bureaucracy?

ON the Other hand: IF the Democrats (mostly) and the Republicans together would support the Capitalist economic plan, then those same people in need would get a "hand up" rather than a "handout." That means ALL the needs of those In Need are taken care of. And NOT at the expense of our freedom, but rather "freeing those enslaved by poverty."

In addition to the cost of freedoms Lost!, there is the question of Where does the money come from? Marxism takes the money from those that have it, Capitalism (when unhindered by liberals) creates cash flow into the programs for those in need, and generates avenues for everyone to gain.

In conclusion I support the general ideas of Obama,  but must vote McCain, because capitalism makes cash flow and allows individual achievement. but will be calling on my senate and reps to support social programs.

Yes we can, together we can bring Real Change!

please vote smart, research first, find out for yourself,
